The region that gave our family-owned hotel its name – the Lake Neusiedl-Seewinkel National Park – is an area of astounding natural beauty. The highlight is without a doubt Lake Neusiedl, which gives the region its distinctive character. The largest steppe lake in Central Europe is a veritable paradise for watersports enthusiasts, offering a pleasant cool-down in the countless hours of summer sunshine and transforming into a giant ice rink in winter.

The diverse and varied landscapes in the National Park are impressive. Expansive meadows and pastures alternate with salt lakes and reed beds – home to a wide range of animal and plant species.

Bird-watchers in particular will be thrilled by the 340 species of birds that can be observed in the region. But you can also discover the natural paradise on foot, by bike or on horseback along the many, well-marked cycling and hiking trails.

Numerous taverns and wine cellars encourage you to stop off for a short breather and discover the easy-going Pannonian lifestyle with a fine glass of wine and delectable regional specialities.
