Wine

Sometimes, it doesn’t take much to truly arrive at yourself.
A wide-open sky. The serenity of the Neusiedler See – Seewinkel National Park. And a glass of wine from Illmitz.

Here, where the reeds whisper in the wind and the sun shapes the day, enjoyment begins quietly. The vineyards surrounding Illmitz are part of this unique landscape – shaped by the lake, warm days, and cool nights. It is exactly this that gives the wines their unmistakable character: soft, profound, and full of life.

After a day spent in nature, a bike ride through the Seewinkel or a walk along the Lacken, a glass of wine tastes different here. Perhaps because you have time. Perhaps because you can sense where it comes from.

Whether it's a fresh, fruity white wine, a smooth red wine or one of the region's famous sweet specialities, the wines from Illmitz accompany moments that linger. Unpretentious, honest and with a keen sense of what's important.

The Seewinkel region doesn’t invite you to hurry. It invites you to stay a little longer. A conversation on the terrace, a sunset over the vineyards, a final sip as the day gently fades.

Many winemakers in the region work in harmony with the National Park – with respect for nature and a love for their craft. You can taste this dedication in every sip. It perfectly complements a retreat that doesn’t need to be loud to be truly special.

A stay in Illmitz is more than just a holiday.
It is a feeling of freedom, openness, and genuine enjoyment. And here, wine is not an extra – it is part of the landscape, part of the culture, part of your stay.

Welcome to the Seewinkel.
Welcome to a glass that tastes like vacation.

For us, true enjoyment begins with encounters. With people who are passionate about their work and whose philosophy matches ours.

In our search for precisely these partners, we came across the Seewinkelhof Salzl winery. Working closely together and with great sensitivity, we created our own Hotel Nationalpark Edition – wines that bear the hallmarks of the region and accompany special moments.

The collection is complemented by our Hotel Nationalpark Tresterbrand, which emerged from this partnership: honest, full of character and deeply rooted in Seewinkel.

A small, fine collection that tells the story of what the Hotel Nationalpark stands for – quality, regionality and enjoyment with soul.
